Indah Was In Bali ....(part 2)

Yeahhh.. after everyone had a good sleep .. we are all ready to explore Bali... we start off with a good heavy breakfast consisting of nasi goreng biasa or toasted bread....yummy....

We will be covering a few sites today:
1. Sukawati - art market
2. Kintamani - beautiful Mount Batur
3. Ubud - temple Tampak Siring
4. Jingkrik - fun t-shirts
5. Wong Solo - famous roast chicken

Thanks to Pak Popo and Ibu Yan, 2 Avanzas were rented. 1 is specially dedicated to the "Tadika bergerak" ehhehe... parents with babies in 1 car.. and the rest in the other.... our first stop was Sukawati... Pak agung drove 1 car and Pak Popo drove the "Tadika" hehehe


We bought souvenirs here.. Ibu Yan showed us around the "Pasar Seni Sukawati"... there were lots of carvings, decoration items, jewelery, handicrafts.. all were beautiful and exquisite....


Indah also couldn't resist the shopping temptation.. she was looking for gifts to give her grandparents and baby sitter back home.. hehehe

Oh yes.. they do sell jamu at the road sides... Pak Agung wanted a taste of the local jamu.. :)

After doing some shopping, it is time to feast!!! Yeah.... an event much awaited and anticipated by all.. ehhehe Nasi Padang time....Pak Agung brought us to theNasi Padang restaurant.. simple food but delicious....

Next.. we went up on a mountain to view the spectacular scenery of Mount Batur at Kintamani...I bought a chess set here.. cantik gila.. handmade by the guy who sold me the set.

On the way down, we stop by at Ubud.. we went to a temple names Tampak Siring.. it is believed by all that who ever showers in the spring in the temple will get his/her wishes come true... there's also a Fountain of Youth in the temple... to enter the temple.. one needs to put on the sacred cloth...

If I'm not mistaken there are 14 spring water in the temple.. each has its own uniqueness...people come to give offerings and shower in the spring to cleanse their soul/spirit....

Geng Bali....

Next, Pak Agung took us the a paddy field..the paddy is planted along the hill side.. the view was magnificent...

After taking some pictures.. we went to Jingkrik.. fancy t-shirts were sold here.. we bought some.. and later we went to Discovery Shopping Mall for a quick site seeing before heading to Ayam Wong Solo for dinner...

Yey yey makan time.. ordering Indah Goreng 1 and Cucur Ilham 1... heheheh

Jus nya sungguh kontroversial hehehe...

Lepas makan dengan jayanya... the "Tadika" car went straight back to Hotel as teh kids were already cranky and sleepy.. while the other van headed to Hard Rock.. :) to be continued....
